NEW RECIPES

It's AMAZING!! I have already made four of the recipes from their site, and am waiting to make several more. The ones I have already tried (and have LOVED all of them), have been:

No-Rise Orange Rolls

I love trying new recipes, and am so excited to have found such a cute site that has FUN new recipes. You should seriously go look around their site. It will make you hungry.
I have also recently made sweet potato bread. It was incredibly moist and came out tasting very similar to pumpkin bread (not surprising if you've ever had sweet potato pie....which has been mistaken for pumpkin pie).

And don't forget the holidays. I am making wreaths to give to people for Christmas (well, before Christmas, so they can actually use them). Hopefully I will be able to post pictures soon. I love Christmas, and crafting, and making things. What a fun time of year!

Cake Balls

I saw these on a friend's blog and decided to try them. They are super easy, look great, and are fun to eat. You just bake a cake, and let it cool. Break it up into pieces in a bowl, stir in a tub of frosting, and then shape into balls and freeze until firm. Dip in chocolate (I used almond bark because it's less expensive), and then decorate as desired. Mine have chocolate, sprinkles, walnuts and coconut. The coconut ones were amazing with the chocolate cake!!!

Cheesecake

Brian loves cheesecake, so he got one for Father's Day. I used a copy of the "Cheesecake Factory" recipe, and the texture is awesome. Definitely the best cheesecake I've made yet...eveni f it did crack a little.

Update

I started this blog with great intentions, but then I got lazy. I hate it when that happens. I haven't forgotten about it, I have simply stopped documenting the fun things I've been making. But, as a small catch up, here are the cakes I've made in the last little while.

Brownies...

These are mint brownies that I made and brought to work. They turned out pretty yummy.

Graduation

Two of the Graduate Assistants in our office are graduating this week. We are going out to lunch to celebrate with them on Monday. I thought it would be fun to make them a cake.
